About Us
Shrewsbury Sub Aqua Club is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC). We’re a friendly diving club based in the town and are always keen to welcome new members.
We own a rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RIB) and do most of our local diving in north Wales with trips also organised to other UK locations, both using the club boats and from charter boats. We often run a foreign trip once a year. Have a look at our events page to see what we have planned this year.

Based in the Shrewsbury Quarry Centre our members have use of the Quarry Pool from 8 – 9 every Thursday evening. Members can practise diving or just come along for a swim. You are welcome to bring a guest along.
We are an active BSAC teaching club. We run regular try-snorkel and try-dive sessions and, for those who would like to train with us, we usually run two entry-level Ocean Diver courses per year plus other advanced and skill development courses. See our training page for more details of courses and our events page for when courses are running. Please get in touch via our contacts page if you are interested in learning to dive.
